About PeptideAgent

PeptideAgent (peptideagent.ai) is a free editorial reference and AI agent on peptides and GLP-1 drugs. The PeptideAgent Editorial Team writes every page and checks each claim against its source. This page explains how, and how the site earns money.

What is PeptideAgent?

PeptideAgent is an editorial reference that answers three questions about any peptide: what the evidence shows, whether it is legal to prescribe, compound, or use in tested sport, and what it costs through each lawful channel, including insurance where a source exists. It is built from a single versioned dataset that generates the peptide pages, the regulatory tracker, and the answers the agent gives.

PeptideAgent lives at peptideagent.ai. It is an editorial reference: not a store, a pharmacy, a clinic, or a peptide-design tool. It has no connection to other sites or apps with similar names.

At the time of the last verification the reference covers 82 peptides with a published record out of 82 in the launch set, with every medical claim tied to a numbered primary source. The rules for grades, statuses, and dosing text are published in full on the methodology page.

What is PeptideAgent not?

  • Not a clinic, pharmacy, or telehealth service. We do not prescribe or dispense medication.
  • Not a seller of research-use-only compounds, and never a link to one. Some pages carry labeled Sponsored links to one prescription telehealth partner, and we may earn a commission if you buy through one. Commissions never change a grade, a legal status, an agent answer, or the order of results.
  • Not a source of protocols. Dosing text reports what the literature used and nothing more.
  • Not clinically reviewed. All 82 peptide records have completed a second editor's check against their sources. No page is a substitute for a licensed provider who knows your history.

Who is the PeptideAgent Editorial Team?

The author of record on every page is the PeptideAgent Editorial Team, the group inside PeptideAgent that writes, sources, and checks each record, not a single individual. Records move through a writer, then an editor who checks each claim against its cited source, then publication. The byline on each page shows whether that second check is complete. There are no personal bylines, so no page rests on individual authority instead of the cited evidence.

How is each page checked?

A person on the editorial team reads every record against its cited sources before its draft label comes off. Automated checks back that up:

  • Before changes are published, every PubMed citation is looked up on PubMed, and its title and year must match the record.
  • Every record is validated against the published data model, so a missing source, date, or status field stops the build.
  • Regulatory status is checked against the primary source (FDA, Federal Register, WADA, state boards), and each page shows the date it was last verified.
  • Dosing text for peptides without an approved label is limited to what the published literature reports, and the agent declines dosing questions beyond it.

Corrections go through the same path: the editor confirms the source, the record changes, and its verified date moves.

How is the reference kept separate from its sponsors?

  • No research-use-only affiliations. PeptideAgent has no affiliate, referral, or advertising relationship with any seller of research-use-only peptides. Its affiliate links go only to services that dispense by prescription, and each one is labeled.
  • Grades and statuses are rule-based. They are derived from study design and from primary FDA, Federal Register, and WADA documents, so no commercial relationship can change them.
  • Affiliate links and sponsored placements are labeled Sponsored, sit beside a disclosure in a distinct style, and never appear inside evidence, regulatory, or dosing sections. They never change a grade, a status, an agent answer, or the order of results.
  • Corrections are public. Material changes increment a record version and reset its last verified date.

Where does the information come from?

PubMed-indexed studies, FDA labels and compounding lists, Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee materials, Federal Register notices, and the WADA prohibited list. Each page lists its sources with numbered citations, and the regulatory tracker links every dated event to the document that caused it.
